College Celebrates Book Week

This week our College was transformed into a hub of imagination, storytelling, and creativity as we celebrated Book Week with a range of exciting activities for students and staff.

We kicked things off with a visit by Dep Fitzpatrick who inspired students and shared her experiences living in Costa Rica as an author. Students also enjoyed our staff guest readers in the library – thank you to Mr Lambert, Mrs Annadale, Mrs Gill, and Miss Miller for sharing your favourite reads!

The library was buzzing with fun all week with a library scavenger hunt, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and the announcement of our creative writing competition and book cover competition winners.

Both staff and students showed off their creativity and flair in the costume competitions with fashion shows and voting adding to the excitement. We also wrapped up the week with a much-anticipated book week raffle draw.

A huge thank you to the organising staff for putting on such an amazing event and to everyone who took part and made this year’s Book Week such a wonderful celebration of reading and imagination!
