In week 4, students from the ACE Indigenous Group took part in an educational excursion to Black Swan Lake, where they explored the cultural importance of the area to the Bindjareb Noongar people.
During the visit, students learned about the traditional connections to the land and deepened their understanding of local Flora and Fauna, capturing photographs and discovering their Noongar names.
The excursion provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with Country, language, and culture in a meaningful and hands-on way.
